     This private elegantly decorated cottage, only a two-minute drive off the ferry, caters to the ever-increasing groups of travelers who are looking for a cottage that creates a climate of home and a unique lodging experience.  This custom 750 square foot cottage has top of the line amenities that spoil you after a long day visiting the many sites and events the island has to offer.   It’s a perfect destination for a romantic get-a-way for two but can accommodate four.   We offer a gourmet breakfast delivered to your door the first morning of your stay if requested.  Conveniently located to the cities of Langley, Bayview and Freeland, the writer’s colony, many beaches and walking distance to Deer Lake.

     Surrounded by the ocean, you often wake to the sound of the ferry horn in the morning.  Our property has a budding orchard, herb garden, and flowers that invite you to explore spring, summer and fall.  With over an acre of manicured garden rooms and lawns, please wander and pick any herbs for your dinner you may need or snack on sweet fruit fresh off the many fruit trees.  Check out the miniature Nigerian goats that love salted peanuts and chin rubs, and their buddies, the Frizzle Bantee hens that lay daily eggs for your breakfast.  Time slows down here, so come, and enjoy yourself, and what nature has provided. Or, just a short walk, visit the water.

      As you drive through the canopy of red trees to your cottage, leave your troubles behind and enjoy “Island Time”!
